The December wedding styling
Charlotte and Jack opted for a classic all-white look for their wedding day. Prestwold Hall’s historic Library was the elegant setting for the couple’s ceremony. Beautiful whatever time of year, there’s something about the Library, flooded with winter sun, that makes it truly magical. Our real bride and groom wanted the grand, atmospheric setting to do the talking, so opted for simple hurricane vases filled with large candles to line the aisle.
The minimalist colour scheme ran through the couple’s chic December wedding reception too. Again, Charlotte and Jack let Prestwold Hall’s luxurious interiors shine, reflecting its opulence with ornate glass candelabras as table centrepieces. Crisp white linen, sparkling glassware and calligraphy table settings brought the sophisticated theme together perfectly.
Winter wedding details
Celebrating a wedding so close to Christmas means Prestwold Hall is already dressed up with festive touches. From the tastefully decorated, traditional Christmas trees and twinkling fairy lights, to hanging mistletoe and seasonal garlands, our couple’s December wedding showed the chic way to work the festivities into your big day.
No December wedding would be complete without a festive feast. Here, Charlotte and Jack worked with Prestwold’s Head Chef and team to create the ultimate winter menu of locally sourced pork and sage sausages, creamy mash and cider gravy. Finished off with an indulgent dark chocolate tart with textures of orange it was the perfect crowd-pleasing wedding menu.
Charlotte and Jack gave a fun nod to the season with their alternative guest book. Our couple invited guests to add their messages to the Christmas tree decorations, before displaying them on the tree. The perfect keepsakes to treasure and enjoy every Christmas.
Bringing the glamour
A December wedding is the perfect excuse to go for all-out glamour, and Prestwold provides the most luxurious of backdrops for a spectacular big day. Our real bride Charlotte looked absolutely incredible in her statement gown. Featuring an intricately embellished bodice packed with sparkles, and a dramatic tiered tulle skirt, it was winter wedding perfection.
Charlotte’s bridesmaids wowed in floor-length sequin dresses and beautiful pearl hair embellishments, matching the bride’s glamorous vibe.
