A venue with this much character means brides can go all out with their big day fashion choices. Our bride modelled a mix of dreamy statement wedding dresses – don’t ask us to pick a favourite!

Calling all true romantics – this is the gown for you. Featuring a strapless sweetheart neckline and bold ruffled tulle skirt, complete with daring thigh split, we adore this stylish look. Paired with an oversized bouquet in white and green, the whole look is giving forest nymph vibes and looks perfectly at home against the dramatic botanical styling of Prestwold Hall. Opt for a sleek up-do and let the dress do the talking, or make a fashion statement with a neckerchief and tulle applique veil.

If you’re all about the glamour, this illusion lace gown, complete with detachable sleeves and daring low back, is perfect for working a red-carpet-worthy look. The V-dip waist and boned corset adds a sexy touch, while the embroidered cathedral length veil will ensure all eyes are on the bride.

Statement wedding day flowers

More is more when it comes to creating a magical forest vibe. Creative Director, Dami from 2501 Events, explained the inspiration behind the shoot: “We wanted it to feel like the florals grew overnight. Like love had softened the stone. Like nature and romance has conspired to make something timeless.” Sophie Flowers Co. translated this vision into a spectacular, immersive botanical wonderland.

The stone pillars at the entrance to Prestwold Hall were dressed in bold wrapround displays, setting the scene for guests from the moment they arrive. Sticking with a simple white and green colour palette, Sophie used a mix of in-season flowers and foliage to create textured displays in stone urns, while twinkling candles added a touch of magic.

Prestwold Hall’s grand fireplace was given a similarly stylish botanical makeover. The mantelpiece was decorated with trailing foliage and fragrant white flowers that cascaded to the floor of the Dining Room.

Bold botanical wedding table décor

Our creative team designed the most breathtaking botanical-inspired tablescapes for a wedding reception in Prestwold’s Dining Room. Tables were covered with white linen featuring a green botanical print, with each setting dressed with an oversized green velvet bow and scallop-edged napkin with forest green trim. Individual LED lamps – with a delicate vintage feel – lined the table, proving a warm, intimate glow.

Again, the floral displays wowed, featuring a mix of urns spilling with white tulips, alongside individual heads of hydrangea and bunches of gypsophila displayed in vases. Tables were lined with unexpected design details, including bunches of grapes and green moss. This gave an authentic ‘back to nature’ feel. A mix of clear and green glassware tapped into the colour scheme, while tall candlesticks provided some elevation.
