Prestwold Hall country house wedding venue

If modern luxury is your dream wedding style, we’ve got the perfect inspiration for your big day. We teamed up with some of the very best UK wedding professionals and suppliers for a spectacular editorial shoot on a stylish peach and gold theme, and we’re so excited to share the results with you. A huge thank you to the fabulous Gina Fernandes and Esther Louise Triffitt for the original concept and beautiful photography. Pinterest boards at the ready, this is pretty special…

The stately home Leicestershire venue

When it comes to elegant wedding venues, it’s hard to beat Grade I stately home Prestwold Hall in Leicestershire. Our grand, historic country house venue was the perfect setting for this contemporary luxe shoot, showcasing how couples can channel a sophisticated vibe for their big day.

From the magnificent architecture to the fabulous period interiors, Prestwold Hall always brings the glamour. Surrounded by 2,500 acres of picturesque rolling parkland, our unique wedding venue seamlessly blends a sense of grandeur with the warmest of welcomes. Think of Prestwold as your own private manor house – exclusively yours for the day.

The statement wedding flowers

Working with a romantic pale pink, coral, peach and white colour palette, talented florist Amanda Steele brought our venue to life with statement floral displays on a luxe theme.  Soft roses, coral poppies, butterfly ranunculus and spirea blossoms brought a dreamy, whimsical feel, while gypsophila, pussy willow, and greenery added to that ‘picked straight from an English meadow’ style.

The peach and gold table styling

Prestwold Hall’s Drawing Room is a masterclass in wedding day luxury, with everything from the grand chandeliers to the gold period details helping to create an elevated wedding reception experience. Event planner and stylist Tara Knott showcased a contemporary take on old-school elegance, with chic peach and gold styling.

Long tables were dressed with flickering tapered candles, miniature posies of flowers in white ceramic vases, and large candles in hurricane jars. Flat-bottom wine glasses, scallop-edged plates, gold cutlery and peach linen napkins set the scene for a sophisticated wedding breakfast. We love the artisan touch of the handmade paper stationery, complete with wax seals, by The Lovely Little Details.

Classic-with-a-twist wedding day fashion

Our gorgeous real couple, Claudia and Bentsil, modelled a curated mix of wedding fashion – from traditional romance to contemporary cool party looks, available at Willow & Grace bridal boutique.

With a high-fashion A-lister feel, Sonia by Pronovias, really brings the drama. Featuring a structured sweetheart neckline and wraparound A-line skirt, this individual wedding dress plays with volume to deliver some serious wow-factor. We love the unexpected thigh-high split and the playful, detachable button-up puff sleeves.

Calling all hopeful romantics – you’re going to fall hard for the exquisite Bloom wedding dress by Pronovias. This fairytale gown in beautiful dusty pink, is all about diaphanous fabric, fluid movement and pretty details. Featuring sparkling beadwork and delicate floral embellishment on both the dress and unique off-the-shoulder puff sleeves, it’s a sweetly whimsical look for a fashion-loving bride.

Prestwold Hall is an exclusive setting for a wedding party, and no evening celebration would be complete without an outfit change.  The polka dot tulle Milla Nova Luv bridal mini dress is perfect for dancing the night away. Paired with pearl-embellished platform heels from Charlotte Mills, and an oversized hair bow, it’s a cool twist on princess bride style.

Our groom kept it classic in a black three-piece tux and black bow tie from Blidworth Menswear. A statement floral buttonhole adding a quirky touch. We love how Bentsil switched up his look by swapping his black bow tie for a velvet dusky pink bow tie for a pop of colour.

For his party look, our groom opted for a grey waistcoat and suit jacket, worn with a skinny black tie. The overall look felt fresh and contemporary, yet still in keeping with Prestwold Hall’s grand vibe.

The modern wedding touches

Can we take a moment for this magnificent statement wedding cake by Opulence By Storeybook Cakes? This breath-taking four-tiered cake makes a stunning centrepiece, featuring a ruffled bottom layer and unbelievable realistic sugar flowers. Surrounded by a fresh floral display, this is the wedding cake of dreams.

If you’re looking for an unusual styling idea that creates a sumptuous welcome, we love the effect of this eye-catching draping from Fabric Theatre. It’s a stylish, theatrical touch that would work for your wedding, whatever time of year.

With some serious retro appeal, this gold tinsel foil curtain signals it’s time to party. And, if you’re searching for a quirky evening entertainment idea, what about a fun audio guestbook from Calleo? We can’t get enough of this classic rotary telephone design in blush pink.
